Tandem Mediation
Occasionally, the parties to a mediation prefer that two mediators participate in the mediation process. While the reasons for dual mediators may vary, it most commonly occurs when the spouses would each be more comfortable with a mediator whose life experience mirrors their own. This approach to mediation brings together, within the same process, the combined perspectives and expertise of complementary mediators. Their dual participation in the mediation process provides the parties with a deeper and broader case analysis, allowing the parties greater insights to the issues at hand, thus facilitating resolution in complex matters. Judge Solomon and Judge Bozzuto, with their family law experience and their own life experiences, are uniquely positioned to provide this service.
